Doctor's Appointment - 35 weeks

It's official. I will now make the trek to the doctor every week. I go back next Friday.

Today's appointment went well. I met with the nurse practitioner. I have been having some swelling and my output compared to my input has been low. I've also managed to gain 6 pounds in the last two weeks (90% of it has to be fluid... there just is no other way). My blood pressure is fine though so they aren't worried about preeclampsia - at least not yet. I've been ordered to "rest as much as possible and drink lots of water." Unfortunately, my job doesn't allow me much rest but as soon as I am home each day that is my new job. Following through with that should prove to be entertaining.

I also had my Group B Strep test today. My results should be back at some point this week.

I've been up since 2:30 am. Pregnancy induced insomnia last night. At least it makes it easier to rest this afternoon...
