Tuesdays with Dorie???

I actually do not have a French Pear Tart to share with you this week -- I'm just in the very beginning stages of coming out of my Christmas break stupor and returning to reality. If you'd like to see the tarts, there are several beautiful ones in the Tuesdays with Dorie blogroll! This is the one year anniversary of Tuesdays with Dorie and Dorie Greenspan selected this week's recipe!!

On a different note -- I have some questions and ponderings that I would love for you to weigh in on. While I love baking and eating desserts, my thighs certainly don't, and I'm considering several options as to how to proceed with cooking and blogging.
1. Keep baking for TWD each week and give the dessert away.
2. Create a second blog for cooking so I can still bake for TWD and post other recipes as well. I'd love to share with you the cream of chicken with wild rice soup I made on Sunday.
3. Continue to post recipes every Tuesday on this blog but only occasionally join the TWD clan -- which will mean that I'll be off their blogroll, but will give me free reign to tell you about other recipes I enjoy.
4. Stop cooking for the blog.

What are your thoughts? Would you like to see a separate Sticky Feet Cooks blog? Should I just continue on with TWD? Help me decide!

If you like this post, share it!

personally, I would miss your TWD desserts. I really do look forward to them.

But, you have to do what is going to be right for you and your blog.....

I think giving away treats is a great thing and people really appreciate it, I'd go with #1.:)

I've gotten a couple desserts from you off of here which has been great, but I enjoy reading other recipes too, not just desserts. Soup sounds fantastic!!

Maybe take a break frm TWD and just do a recipe Tuesday thing...TWJ :)

I make 1/2 batches or minis with all my TWD recipes because it's just me and the hubs. I also pawn off most of it on his co-workers or family. I admit I have gained a little weight from food blogging so I am trying to balance that out with healthy recipe posts and lots of exercise!

Why couldn't you just post other recipes here together with TWD? Doesn't say anywhere in the rules that you can't, lots of people post other stuff too...

As I have very little interest in baking myself, I wouldn't miss TWD but hey, it's your blog. :) It seems like a lot of work to me. Perhaps write your own ticket. If TWD has something appealing then do it but otherwise, post whatever recipe you want or none at all. I don't come here for the food. :)

I enjoy your baking posts, even if I never comment on them. I didn't join TWD because I don't need all that goodness sitting around - but I love that you are and have been motivated enough to participate most weeks.

Doesn't really answer your question, though. ;)

I have given up on baking and have deemed Jeremy to be the house baker... but I would miss your pretty pictures and posts about your decadent desserts.
